{"id":959,"date":"2021-05-26T07:52:38","date_gmt":"2021-05-26T14:52:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rainforeststationpets.com\/blog\/?page_id=959"},"modified":"2021-05-26T07:52:38","modified_gmt":"2021-05-26T14:52:38","slug":"venus-fly-trap-propagation","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.rainforeststationpets.com\/blog\/plant-care\/venus-fly-trap-propagation\/","title":{"rendered":"Venus Fly Trap Propagation"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are two main tricks for vegetative propagation of carnivorous Venus Fly Traps: Rhizome division and leaf pulls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The main advantage of using these techniques is that the new plants will be clones of the parent plants, and not be subject to the genetic drift caused by sexual (seed) propagation.
