Phyllobates terribilis is the largest of the three toxic members of the genus Phyllobates.
The Mint Green morph develops a metallic light green coloration in adulthood.
Terriblis are large, hardy frogs capable of taking large prey and as adults, can swallow a full-grown cricket.
These frogs are not as territorial as some posion dart frogs and can be maintained in groups. They rarely climb as adults.
