Hydroton 50 liter bag

Hydroton is an expanded clay product that makes a great drainage layer in your naturalistic terrarium.
Lighter than aquarium gravel, Hydroton is larger, providing more surface area and more airspace between pieces. This creates the perfect environment for beneficial aerobic bacteria to colonize, turning your drainage layer into a biological filter for your terrarium.
One four-liter bag is enough to create a drainage layer in a 10-gallon size terrarium with about 3/4 land area and 1/4 water feature.
